Terms of Use

By downloading or using Tint, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

Tint is provided for personal, non-commercial use. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt to reverse-engineer it, or use it in any way that violates applicable law.

Tint edits and exports only the one photo you actively choose to import — it never modifies or deletes anything in your photo library on its own. Exported photos are saved to your device's own Photos library or shared via your device's share sheet, at your direction. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything you want to preserve; other than the temporary processing described below for the AI tab, there is no backup of your original or edited photos anywhere but your device.

Tint's AI tab (Effects, Style, Retouch, Vibe, Headshot, Chat, Critique, and Restore) sends the photo you're editing, and any text you type there, to Google's Gemini API through our server to produce your result — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent and stored. By using the AI tab, you additionally agree to the following:

• You need the rights to submit the photo.Only submit a photo you own or otherwise have permission to use and to have processed by a third-party AI service — including permission from any other identifiable person in it. Do not use the AI tab on anyone's likeness without their consent.
• Acceptable use.Do not use the AI tab to create content that is illegal, non-consensual (including intimate or sexual depictions of real people without consent), exploits minors, harasses or defames a real person, or infringes someone else's intellectual property or likeness rights.
• AI results can be wrong.Generated edits and Critique's scores/tips are produced by a third-party AI model and may be inaccurate, unexpected, or not to your taste. You are responsible for reviewing any result before relying on, saving, or sharing it.
• Credits are consumed on a completed request.An AI credit is spent once a request finishes successfully, regardless of whether you like the result. A credit is refunded automatically only when the request itself fails (e.g. a server error, a content-safety rejection, or a timeout) — not because you're unhappy with an otherwise successful result.

Tint offers an optional Pro unlock, available as a single one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase — not a subscription, and it does not renew or charge again. Separately, AI credits (used by the AI tab) can be purchased as consumable in-app purchase packs; each pack is a one-time purchase that adds credits to your balance and does not renew. Pricing for both is shown in the app and in the App Store or Google Play listing before purchase. All purchases are processed and managed by the App Store or Google Play and are subject to their respective terms and refund policies. Your use of Tint is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Every feature outside the AI tab keeps your photo entirely on your device, which remains your responsibility to back up. Using the AI tab sends your photo to our server and Google's Gemini API to produce a result, as described in the Privacy Policy — no copy of it is kept on our end afterward.

Tint is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app — including its AI tab, which depends on a third-party AI service outside our control — will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tint and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including loss of photos or data, or any AI-generated content or advice.

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
